I’m particularly fond of photographs that propose some sort of enigma, whose full narrative potential is only realized with the addition of something that’s not manifest in the image alone. ‘Whimsical misdirection’ seems like another earmark of this genre. I’ve done a number of other creatures emerging from occultation –once seen, not easily unseen. A pluripotent realm for further exploration.
