This project began with a Convivium Question about strategies for dodging the Slough of Despond into which we might be sucked by the next few months of tub-thumping and posturing and polycrisis delivered by various media. It occurs to me to collect and try to make sense of the resources at my fingertips with respect to plants ... to better understand the landscapes and living systems around me, and build a guide to my collections, as an evolving catalog of things discovered as I seek to repair the deficiencies in my grasp of bio-logy.
