Perhaps it's best viewed and wrangled as one's own internal telling, instead of basically the tale you spin for others to hear. The essence may be: summarize what one has thought and done; examine the (internal) telling for verisimilitude; augment where indicated (via Web searches and books), managing one's infoverse recreationally.
