Tinker<\/a>, &#8220;a retired biochemist living in the Annapolis valley, Nova Scotia&#8230;&#8221;, and he has this lovely summary:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Why do people contribute time, energy and money to something that cannot possibly bring them material rewards? Good question.
