A recent blog posting on <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wfmu.org\/freeform\/2007\/08\/diamanda-galas-.html\">Diamanda Galas<\/a> led me into a half-hour detour on the farther edges&#8230; There&#8217;s so much astounding <b>clear-the-room music<\/b> out there, available via archived radio shows (like those at WFMU such as <a href=\"http:\/\/wfmu.org\/playlists\/shows\/15938\">Strength through Failure with Fabio<\/a>) in RealAudio, and via YouTube (e.g., <a href=\"www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VpPU-xQXfAg\">Maja Ratkje<\/a>) and in mp3 via archives like UbuWeb (e.g., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubu.com\/sound\/blonk.html\">Jaap Blonk<\/a> &#8211;see also his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jaapblonk.com\/\">Web site<\/a>).
