The raw version as it came from the camera (a broken fragment of sea ice floating above sand):<center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oook.info\/photo\/5209orig.jpg\" width=40%><\/p>\n<p>\nand as adjusted (vibrancy, clarity, sharpness) and uploaded to Flickr:<br \/><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/blackmerh\/50935767093\/in\/dateposted-family\/\" title=\"12ii21045\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50935767093_bea9c1a0eb.jpg\" width=\"329\" height=\"500\" alt=\"12ii21045\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>\nand then I saw a figure within the original, and cropped and rotated:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oook.info\/photo\/5209crop.jpg\" width=55%><\/p>\n<p>and eventually with minor adjustments it resolved to this:<br \/>\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/blackmerh\/50936605058\/in\/dateposted-family\/\" title=\"5209cropadj\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50936605058_e105207ee7.jpg\" width=\"456\" height=\"500\" alt=\"5209cropadj\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\nAnd then I wondered about that baleful yellow eye at the top, and did the by-now-familiar copy-flip-join to produce a mirror image:<center><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/blackmerh\/50939389602\/in\/dateposted-family\/\" title=\"13ii2104\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50939389602_a805181f83.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"385\" alt=\"13ii2104\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\nAnd while we&#8217;re considering the experimental, a new perspective arrived yesterday in the form of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Pergear-Pancake-Fisheye-Compatible-Z50%E3%80%81Z6%E3%80%81Z7%E3%80%81Z6II%E3%80%81Z7II\/dp\/B08SK5VGCF\/\">10 mm fisheye lens<\/a> that has no very serious purpose (or not yet, anyway) but does that thing of making me think differently about what I <i>see<\/i> via the medium of the camera.
