{"id":3794,"date":"2020-04-29T08:37:57","date_gmt":"2020-04-29T12:37:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=3794"},"modified":"2020-05-01T12:02:50","modified_gmt":"2020-05-01T16:02:50","slug":"ouxpo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=3794","title":{"rendered":"OuXPo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel Levin Becker&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0674065778\/\"><b>Many Subtle Channels: In Praise of Potential Literature<\/b><\/a> rolled in yesterday and transfixed me from the very first page:<br \/>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/oook.info\/images\/BeckerFormatting.png\"><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve known of OuLiPo (Ouvroir de Litt&eacute;rature Potentielle, &#8216;Workshop for Potential Literature&#8217;) in a desultory sort of way for years, mostly via the work of Georges Perec (see <a href=\"https:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=3732\">Georges Perec provokes<\/a>  and <a href=\"https:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=3738\">Convivial Question<\/a>  and  <a href=\"https:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=2066\">another genius<\/a>) and largely thanks to my many years of friendship with Daniel He&iuml;kalo, Oulipian <i>avant la lettre<\/i>.
