{"id":3200,"date":"2017-08-16T20:01:02","date_gmt":"2017-08-17T00:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=3200"},"modified":"2017-08-17T09:11:35","modified_gmt":"2017-08-17T13:11:35","slug":"the-succinct","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oook.info\/blog\/?p=3200","title":{"rendered":"the succinct"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One take on &#8216;simplicity&#8217; is the quality of being <b>succinct<\/b>: getting a [sometimes complex] message across briefly, clearly, with a minimum of havering and expatiation, in a tidy package of nicely chosen words, or in an image that the viewer may grok without the need for exegesis. Sometimes there&#8217;s a way to express a complex story, with details and interconnections with other stories, in a spare or even gnomic gesture: one can <b>know<\/b> the story at a glance. Too many years in classrooms, not enough time in quiet contemplation of what I see.
