Explaining Self to Self

Explaining Self to Self is, I fancy, my Octogenarian Thing. The yellow pads collect the stratigraphic/temporal record of my explorations, curiosities, reminiscences, and passing fancies.

A substantial part of that enterprise is an exploration of who am I, and how did I become who I find myself to be as I write? That mostly takes the form of bits of the remembered past unpacked from the Mind and its component Memory ...with a parallel record of rabbit holes encountered, and work on the macramé that leads toward

"...it all makes sense"

But won't ever reach because the artist is no longer at the macramé loom. Of course there is no macramé loom, but I can imagine one at work in 3 present dimensions (where a conventional weaving is 2D...), to produce a narrative filled with a gossamer of intercalations, a weave, a tubular knitting, a chronosynclastic infundibulum

...a made-up space-time concept from Kurt Vonnegut's 1959 novel, The Sirens of Titan. It represents places where all different truths fit together, where time and space twist, and where a person can see all points in time at once.
