To add to Agent

'Agent' really does demand explication, under the glare of 'Agent' as it has come to be used in the discourse of 'AI' —which is so divided and complex and needs to be mapped as well.

Where do we begin? Perhaps an 'agent' is

An extension of one's material and informational endowments, sensible of direction/programming, constructed/built to DO something on ones behalf. a something/somebody that is capable of taking action on one's behalf ...of being built and programmed to carry out one's ...commands, to act on one's behalf.

Granted the power to act on behalf of; a bundle of capabilities, immersed in the details of a complexity that one wishes/needs to navigate...

Decisions can be made, actions enacted, the meat-self's capabilities extended.
