I've been fascinated by Technology in the abstract and in the vastness of concrete examples of human ingenuity in the making and using of tools, and in the ...consequences of those tool-using as elements in what we are pleased to view as Homo sapiens' progress in refining our array of tools, both concrete and …imaginary. The complexity and conceptual reach of the Narrative of tool use is fundamental to the emergence of the Anthropocene, to human attempts to manage the biotic world in which humanity lives and works and thinks, and to use the resources of the non-biotic components of the Earth.
