• An Appalachian Adventure (a nice example of a journalistic use of the Web, following hikers on the Appalachian Trail with weekly stories and photographs)
• Tim Ware's Concordances to Gravity's Rainbow and V. (concordances and the means to search them were one of the earliest textual uses of computers)
• How far is it? (distance between two places)
• Los Angeles Real-Time Traffic Report
• Ebola links from YAHOO (response to current crisis)
