I started with YAHOO, one of the richest WWW subject indexes, and looked first at YAHOO Physics links (note that superconductivity is one of the categories)

Webcrawlers/spiders/webtenders are another important class of WWW search tools. An OpenText search produces several useful-looking links:

• Ray Strange initiates a SQUID experiment
