The Risser Album

Sometime in the 1890s, George Risser sent his Aunt Drusilla (she may have been Drusilla Spindler, née Risser, of Rose Bay) a fancy photo album from Boston, with this inscription:

The album is pretty florid:

Most of the pictures in the album were taken in Lunenburg or in Boston, but few have anything written on them that could help to identify the subjects. Most are cabinet cards, but there are several tintypes, some cartes de visite, and a few smaller format photos. This tintype couple is presumably a significant pair:
