My fascination with Character as expressed in studio portraits dates back to 1972,
when I began the Bluenose Physiognomy project,
which then grew to be the Abandoned Ancestors project
that I've been toying with for quite a while.
This Personage is consistent with a recurring Type,
a middle-aged male exuding an air of success and mastery
and foreward-looking intention.
