Grandfather and Grandmother Joerndt were both born in Mecklenburg, Schwerin. Father was born in 1826 and mother in 1832.

Go to the castle in M.S. and ask the guard to let you see the floor in the hunting room. Your Grandfather Joerndt laid that floor he was exempt from military duty because of this assignment. I leave it to your judgement whether he was a carpenter or an artist.
