An invitation from Tom Whaley to talk to his seminar about finding information on genetic algorithms prompted me to do some exploring of resources available to W&L students.

As I generally do with a subject I don't know much about, I started with a quick search on AltaVista and found a number of useful links:

A search in MathSciNet for 'genetic algorithms' returns more than 400 references from the mathematical literature.

A subject search for 'genetic algorithms' in the FirstSearch Applied Science and Technology Abstracts returns over 500 items

A page of links to IEEE Journals makes it relatively easy to search their contents, title by title.
