NUSA DUA, Bali - Indonesia will start shipping liquefied natural gas (LNG) to China's Fujian province for

25 years in 2007, an Indonesian minister said.

"After our final meeting today, the sales purchase agreement will be signed by CNOOC and Pertamina

[Indonesia's state-run oil company] on Thursday," Purnomo Yusgiantoro, energy and mineral resource

minister, said at a press conference at the first China-Indonesia Energy Forum here on Wednesday.

The total worth of LNG purchase agreement reaches US$21 billion, he said, adding he was optimistic

that if supported by four refineries, the Tangguh field in Papua province could meet the supply. "[But],

if there are only two [refineries], the total worth of sales is expected to reach $8 billion to $10 billion,"

he said.
