One of the joys of being immured by pandemic hesitancy is that there's TIME for explorations and discoveries in dim corners. Something now not quite remembered inspired me to order Daniel Levin Becker's Many Subtle Channels: In Praise of Potential Literature (Harvard University Press 2012) a few days ago, and it just arrived. Opened it. Started reading. Immediately thought: oh I know who would appreciate this... and hence the appended bits from the first 16 or so pages. And whether I was right or not in thinking "oh I know who would appreciate this..." it's a bullseye for me.
